17-year-old Jake Kohlhauser was traded to the Victoria Royals on Thursday in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2015 Bantam Draft. Kohlhauser appeared in just three regular season games for the G-Men including Wednesday's 6-0 loss at the hands of the Seattle Thunderbirds.

The Vancouver Giants have traded 17 year-old defenceman Jake Kohlhauser to the Victoria Royals in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2015 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. The Giants will receive a fourth-round pick in the 2015 Bantam Draft unless Kohlhauser plays more than 50 games in the 2014/2015 season in which the Giants will receive a third-round pick in the 2015 Draft.
The 6'0",170lbs defenceman was drafted by the Giants in the second-round of the 2011 Bantam Draft.
Kohlhauser played midget with the St. Albert Raiders Midget AAA of the Alberta Midget Hockey League last season where he had 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) in 29 games.

The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that the club has acquired 1996-born defenceman Jake Kohlhauser (coal-how-zer) from the Vancouver Giants in exchange for a conditional draft pick.
Kohlhauser joins the Royals after starting the 2013-14 season with the Giants. The 6-0, 185 rearguard suited up for the St. Albert Raiders Midget AAA squad last year where he registered five points (1g-4a) in 29 games of regular season play. In the post-season, Kohlhauser notched three points (1g-2a) in four games for the Raiders.
Drafted by Vancouver in the second round, 30th overall, of the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft, Kohlhauser spent the 2011-12 season with the St. Albert Flyers Minor Midget AAA team. TheSt. Albert,AB native recorded 18 points (4g-14a) through 35 games with the Flyers.
Kohlhauser dressed for the St. Albert Sabres in his 2010-11 bantam hockey season where he posted 11 points (4g-7a) in 33 games played. Kohlhauser was also named the captain of the Northwest Sharks at the 2011 Alberta Cup in which the defenceman put up a goal and an assist through five games of tournament play.
