The Vancouver Giants (17-12-5-2) will host the Prince George Cougars (13-18-2-3) at the Pacific Coliseum on Sunday in their final game before the December break. The G-Men are 4-0-0-1 in the season series with the Cougars.
Vancouver comes into Sunday's action on a four game winning streak after a pair of victories over the Everett Silvertips on Friday and Saturday. Jackson Houck had two goals in Vancouver's 6-3 win on Saturday night. The 18-year-old has three goals in the last two games since returning from a three-game suspension. Trent Lofthouse also found the net on Saturday, extending his goal scoring streak to four games.
The Cougars sit in ninth in the Western Conference, six points back of the eighth place Tri-City Americans. Prince George is coming off a 6-3 loss at the hands of the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday. Despite the loss, 20-year-old forward Todd Fiddler had three points against Spokane. The Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan native now has 13 goals and 13 assists in 16 games with the Cougars since being acquired from the Moose Jaw Warriors on November 4th.
