The Giants made another trade on Wednesday ahead of Friday's trade deadline, shipping 20-year-old import forward Marek Tvrdon to the Kelowna Rockets for a 2nd round bantam draft pick. Tvrdon did not suit up for the Giants this season after playing in the ECHL for the first portion of the year.

The Vancouver Giants have traded 20-year old forward Marek Tvrdon to the Kelowna Rockets for a second-round pick in the 2014 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
The Nitra, Slovakia native played 19 games for the Detroit Red Wings’ East Coast Hockey League affiliate Toledo Walleye this season where he had 8 goals and 3 assists (11 points).
Tvrdon was drafted by the Red Wings in the fourth round (115th overall) in the 2011 National Hockey League Draft.
In three seasons with the Giants, Tvrdon had 107 points (45 goals, 62 assists) in 90 games.
